It Is a Natural Process when Animal Species Become Extinct

It is a natural process when animal species become extinct, as dinosaurs died out in the past. There is no reason for people to prevent this from happening. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Sample 1: It Is a Natural Process when Animal Species Become Extinct

Humans do not control nature; it is uncontrollable, like natural disasters. We cannot control these types of events, but we can also predict them. On Earth, many wild species and other species have become extinct because of human activities, and in past history, dinosaurs, like monster species, died because of nature. Preventing natural disasters is not something humans can do, but we can save species that are dying from human activities. I believe that even if some animals are dying from natural processes, we can try to prevent that.

To begin with, in this world, every species or human being has their own right to live peacefully, and they have their own part in this universe. Moreover, in this tragic world, work is done on the life cycle, and if any species that has a role in this chain becomes extinct, it will unbalance the cycle and become a mess for species living on Earth. For instance, in its life cycle, a lion is a wild animal that only eats meat like deer and buffalo from jungles. If those species become extinct, predators like lions and tigers will have no choice but to kill people in cities and rural areas because of their hunger.

In addition, helping to prevent these species from becoming extinct has not done any harm to humans because it shows how nature has given us beautiful creatures, and some countries are also taking steps by creating zoos that are only for extinct creatures. For example, recently, the Indian government bought cheetahs so they could breed this species and expand their numbers.

In conclusion, humans have no control over nature because nature reacts to our bad outcomes. However, the activities we do that harm the natural species are ones we can prevent.

Sample 2: It Is a Natural Process when Animal Species Become Extinct

It is an irrefutable fact that animal extinction is now increasing significantly. Many people believe that it is a natural phenomenon behind the perishment of animals such as dinosaurs that went extinct in ancient times, and humans are not responsible for this. However, in my opinion, I completely disagree with the statement. This essay will analyze my views by demonstrating points and proving arguments in the impending paragraphs.

To begin with, many individuals believe that rather than humans, there are many reasons for extinction, but the most predominant one is climate change. To elucidate further, natural disasters were not only responsible for life-threatening illnesses but also destroyed their sources of food. For instance, an article published by a national newspaper revealed that 30% of the animals had died in the past only due to the food shortage. Therefore, it is undeniable that environmental factors play an imperative role in destroying some endangered species.

On the other hand, I would assert that humans are responsible for destroying some species because all animals are immensely necessary for maintaining ecosystems. First of all, farmers cut down forests to have more places, planting crops and raising livestock, which later provide to human beings. Besides, Industrial activities have devastated the natural habitats of wildlife. The increased demand for products made from animals’ skins and horns leads to the problems of endangered animals. Furthermore, man-made pollution contributes to the loss of species, too. Discharging sewage and other toxic substances into rivers has killed off fish and other marine animals. Therefore, I believe humans should take responsibility to prevent the extinction of animal species.

In conclusion, although climatic factors and disasters are dominant, humans are also involved in these activities, which could be the major reason for animal extinction.
