Nowadays More People Are Travelling to Other Countries. Why Is This Happening? Is It a Negative or Positive Development?
Sample Answer: Nowadays More People Are Travelling to Other Countries
Currently, there is an increasing number of people migrating to foreign countries. Due to inadequate opportunities in their motherland, this is a reason escalating this migration; furthermore, this is a negative development as they left their native land predominantly with less professional personnel.
There is insufficient opportunity in many countries, especially in Subsaharan countries, which leads residents to shift from one nation to another for a better chance of their career. Because of the unstable economy of many Subsaharan countries like Tanzania, there are fewer job offers, regardless of the highest number of educated people, and this has left an enormous number of citizens unemployed and finally led to a poor quality of life, which encourages them to leave the country and seek better places. For example, my old friend graduated with honours in engineering school, and he struggled for years without employment; however, he landed a good-paying job in Dubai, and now he is living his dream life, which he used to tell me when we were in elementary school.
On the other hand, people leaving their original country have problematic consequences, such as leaving the nation with a scarcity of educated individuals, like health care providers. Because now people can go to another country and get a job offer without any obligation, it appeared to be an unhealthy activity in some African states, as essential workers continue to fly away due to various reasons and leave the country with a shortage of workforce in important areas like the health care system. For instance, in Zimbabwe, more than half of the medical doctors have shifted to the UK and left the country with fewer doctors, which is not enough to provide service to the whole country.
To recapitulate, nowadays more humans are going to other countries because of a lack of opportunity in their mother country, which leaves the country with fewer professional people.
