Question 1:- Where do you go to school?

Answer 1:- I attended school in my hometown, which was a renowned English-speaking school, the only one available in the whole district.

Answer 2:- I attended Dapson Nursery and primary school in Osogbo Osun State in Nigeria while I schooled at St. James Grammar School Osogbo Osun State in Nigeria, my secondary school. All my schooling was in Osogbo, Osun state Nigeria.

Question 2:- Do you go to a good school?

Answer 1:– My school was the best during those days, as there were no other English schools except our school. Other schools were all regional language speaking.

Answer 2:- Of course, my school was one of the best schools in Osogbo. The teachers were sound, and the school also had a serene environment for learning.

Question 3:- Do you like your teachers?

Answer 1:– I am grateful to my teachers for their valuable teaching and the efforts they took to educate us.

Answer 2:– Yes, I love my teachers. I like them because they are so efficient in teaching, and they also take their time to explain topics to students. Another thing I will not forget to mention is the close relationship they built with us, which was so inspiring.

Question 4:- Do you like your current learning atmosphere?

Answer 1:- Well, I have no complaints about my current learning institute, for things have changed a lot recently. It is more commercialized nowadays.

Answer 2:– When I was a student, I loved the learning environment. For example, when I was in nursing school, the environment was conducive to learning. There was an Air conditioner in my classroom; the classroom was brightly lit up, and the chairs were well arranged. I really loved the experience; it was fun.

Question 5:- What are the differences between your school and other schools?

Answer 1:- Our school focused on academics and sports equally. Unlike other schools, I found it lacking the balance of the forms.

Answer 2:- Well, I will say my school is one of the outstanding schools in Osogbo because it breeds brilliant and intelligent students. We used to come first whenever there was competition among other schools. I could remember Florence Nightingale’s speech context; my school came first on many occasions. Other schools can not compete with my school, we are the best, and I am always proud to say it anywhere.

Question 6:- Is there anything you want to change about your academy?

Answer 1:- The infrastructure of our academy was pretty old, where few classrooms, especially the laboratory rooms, were congested. If the academy can be physically renewed, then it would be a better place overall.

Answer 2:- That’s a good question. If I have to change anything about my academy , I will ensure that each student makes use of Tabs or a computer to learn. In my nursing academy, what was in existence then was that all the students did copy notes, and we did copy so many pages on different subjects. Hadn’t each student had their tabs or system, learning would be so easy.

Question 7:- How do you typically prepare for exams or assessments in school?

Answer 1:– In our school, we had extra classes. That is to say, pupils who were weak in particular subjects were tuition, and we had a lot of mock tests.

Answer 2:- Although I did read on a daily basis whenever we were taught in class, any time exams or assessments were approaching, I used to go to night class. I can stay there for about 4 hours between 8 pm and 12 pm. I love to read at night because I assimilate faster; it really helped me when I was in school.

Question 8:- How important do you think it is for students to have a good relationship with their teachers?

Answer 1:- I think if teachers and students have good rapport among themselves, it would enhance the teaching levels, and students will have free access to approach teachers with their difficulties.

Answer 2:- Yes, I think it’s very paramount for students to have a cordial relationship with their teachers. It helps the students to learn faster, and also, they can always approach the teachers if they have any questions or issues bothering them.

Question 9:- Are there any specific school rules or policies that you agree or disagree with?

Answer 1:– As such, whatever the policies the school had reformed were all good and were prepared in the best interest of the students and parents

Answer 2:- Yes, there are some specific rules I didn’t like when I was in school. For example, as a female student nurse, you can not do a fashionable hairstyle or do some hairstyle that is trending; all you can do is weave or plait your hair. These are some policies I didn’t come to terms with, and I found them so boring.

Question 10:- What role do you think technology plays in education today?

Answer 1:– Today, technology has transformed the education system. Today all the information is available at the click of a button. There are various platforms where students can take up their learning. Unlike in the past, the pupil had to rely solely on the school syllabus and school lectures.

Answer 2:- Technology plays an important role in educational systems. As I mentioned earlier, if students have access to Tabs or computers, they can learn faster. Also, they can browse or google any difficult topics or subjects, which enables them to prepare ahead of class.
