Some Children Nowadays Take Sports Seriously While Others Play Sports in Their Free Time. Is This a Positive or Negative Development?

Physical activities play a paramount role in every individual’s life. In this modern epoch, some youngsters take them solemnly, whereas others play games in their leisure time. In my opinion, this is a pessimistic progression, and the reason behind this is discussed in upcoming paragraphs.

First and foremost, they are distracted from their academics. Obviously, provided that offspring take physical activities seriously, they concentrate on the outside and indoor curriculum activities rather than the studies. In addition, their school performance will not be effective, and they can not score well in their exams. What’s more, they need to gain more knowledge about different subjects, reasoning skills, and so on.

Secondly, they have fewer career opportunities in the future. To elaborate, if they play games full-time, then they do not have any basic knowledge of some compulsory subjects, so they can not get well-known jobs in the future. In some state or national competitive exams, good marks are predominant compared to sports experience.

In conclusion, although sports are essential for children, if they manage their time to play games, their two curriculum activities can be balanced.
