Some Feel that It Is a Waste of Time to Plan for The Future

Some Feel that It Is a Waste of Time to Plan for The Future (1)

Some feel that it is a waste of time to plan for the future, and it is more important to focus on the present. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is argued that contemplating the future is a time drain process because people don’t do fruitful efforts in their present. By contrast, others consider that concentrating on the present time is vital for individuals. I thoroughly agree with the latter ideology because masses will have a cheerful present as well as life is too short to enjoy it.

First off, those, who consider that focussing on the present, is prominent for multitude. It is because they will be happier by not thinking about future possibilities. In other words, when people think and make a plan for their future, then, sometimes, their plans are dashed to the ground, and they repent over it. Therefore, if they enjoy their present, they will have a feeling of glee. For instance, the majority of people burn midnight oil to earn money, and they waste the precious time that they must utilize with their friends and family. That time has been used by them for making a profit. Thus, they lose their valuable time, and when it is time to enjoy, they become helpless due to their age restrictions.

Furthermore, as it has been ever said that time has wings, and once it passes, it can never be recalled. Man is mortal, and lifespan is unpredictable. So, to drink life to the lees, emphasizing-emphasizing the present time is mandatory. Moreover, it is usually seen that masses believe in procrastination and are incapable of doing their work on time. This attitude has a great disadvantage to them. They lose every colour of their life and wait for things to happen in the future. Thus they spoil their present and future too. Besides, if they had tried to live in their present by forgetting the future, they would have had more charm in their life. The classic example can be found in the play ‘Waiting for Godot written by Samuel Beckett. In it, two persons wait for someone to turn up to assist them. Thus they lost their valuable time and age. In the end, both become lunatics and over that time period, they undergo mental and physical tribulations.

In conclusion, in consideration of the above analysis, it is ostensible that living in the current time is indispensable for people as they enjoy more and it is a wave to keep themselves away from mental conflicts otherwise masses will experience loss of their valuable time and age to make their future bright which is unpredictable.
