Games are becoming a crucial part of our day-to-day lives, whether board or video games. This generates a debate over adventurous sports: whether they should be banned by higher authorities or permitted. In this essay, I am going to discuss both views but support the latter.
On the one hand, adventurous sports are risky in some cases, which is the main reason to stop them. To explain it, games like bungee jumping and others pose a threat to life and may be responsible for deaths that happen while playing. Apart from this, sometimes a person with less or no experience also takes part in such a game just to show off in front of friends or someone else, which gives birth to serious accidents. For example, a recent study shows that adventurous games such as mountaineering and hiking are more likely to result in physical harm than normal ones. As a result, players spend the rest of their lives with deep injuries which take years to recover, and the death rate will increase.
On the other hand, every person has the right to live their life as they choose, and it is entirely up to them whether they want to engage in such harmful games. However, such games are always played under strict rules and safety protocols. To elaborate, these games are always supervised by expert or professional instructors, which reduces the level of risk. Not only that, but the instruments used in games are of good quality and should be checked before use. As a result, players will be less afraid to take on challenging activities and make informed decisions about their participation.
In conclusion, no doubt, risky games have numerous dangerous consequences that will reflect on the rest of a person’s life. Still, it is necessary to understand that everyone has their own taste and interests.
