Sample Answer for Some People Believe that Using Taxpayer Funds to Look for Life on Other Planets Is Important

In this contemporary era, the topic of taxpayer funds become a hot topic among the masses. Some people think that we should invest money in another planet. While others think that it is a complete waste of money because there are still issues that require funding on our Earth. Well, I will explain the stance and give my point of view in the next paragraph, with some examples.

To begin with, those who favour allocating taxpayer funds assume that the Earth is no longer a suitable or secure place due to climate change and the alarming rate of pollution. Moreover, the population is increasing rapidly. As the population increases, it directly impacts our natural resources, leading to a daily decline. Their last resort will probably be people’s own money.

On the other hand, on our planet, there are so many sectors that need improvement rather than wasting money on different planets. Since the global community faces challenges related to poverty and health, investing in these areas would improve people’s health. For example, COVID-19, knowing that fact that there are still numerous unanswered questions of which humans are not fully aware. So, spending money on these areas is definitely helpful for people.

In my opinion, living on another planet seems impossible. Furthermore, spending money on our planet can benefit people by improving their standard of living.

In conclusion, spending money on another planet is a good idea. However, first, spending money on our problem would help the prosperity of the human race.
