Special days play an indispensable role in each and every person’s life. Individuals love to express their happiness by celebrating special events with loved ones. Recently I came across a survey conducted by the life point website.

According to that survey, 64% of people agreed that celebrations give them an opportunity to share love and happiness with others. Today I would like to manifest the event organized for me On which I didn’t spend too much money.

That event was the parent’s anniversary. I vividly reminisced six months ago, it was my parent’s wedding anniversary, and I wanted to give them a surprise party at one of the renowned food outlets in my city.

I just booked a hall in that hotel as I know all the ins and outs of embellishment, and fortunately, one of my friends has a gifted hand in culinary skills, so she cooked distinct types of food for guests with my help, and I adorned the hall with lights, balloons and pictures.

I was bouncing off the wall as everything was organized very well, and I was eagerly waiting for my parents. As my parents entered the hall, they were a bolt from the blue because they were not expecting such a great surprise and were overwhelmed by the presence of their friends and family members.

Everyone applauded the decoration and scrumptious food. It was beyond belief as I counted the expenses. It didn’t cost me an arm and a leg as I just footed the bill of the hall.

That day was a red letter day for me because it was the first time I gave red carpet treatment to my parents, even without spending a lot of money. To cap it all, celebrations with loved ones are truly indelible moments in our life.

One special day that comes to mind, which wasn’t expensive at all, was a hiking trip I took with some friends. It was a beautiful sunny day, and we all decided to take advantage of the nice weather and head out into nature.

We went to a local national park, which was just a short drive away. The park offered several hiking trails that were perfect for all skill levels, so we chose one that we felt comfortable with. The hike was a bit challenging, but the views were absolutely breathtaking, and we were all so glad we did it.

I celebrated with a group of close friends who I had known for a long time. We all shared a love for nature and hiking, so this was the perfect way to spend the day together. We laughed, chatted, and enjoyed each other’s company while surrounded by the beauty of the park.

The reason why it didn’t cost us much was that we all brought our own food and drinks, and we didn’t have to pay for admission to the park. We also made sure to wear appropriate hiking gear that we already owned, so we didn’t have to buy anything new. Overall, it was a perfect day that didn’t break the bank but still allowed us to have a wonderful time.

Sometimes the simplest things in life can bring the most joy, and this hiking trip was a perfect example of that.
