Sample Answer: Talk About a Time when Your Computer Broke Down

I would like to talk about a time when my computer suddenly broke down. This incident happened around six months ago, just a few days before an important deadline. I was working on a report for a professional task, and I had already spent many hours collecting data and preparing the document.

At that time, I was in the middle of editing my final draft. Everything was going smoothly, and I was about to complete the work. Suddenly, my computer froze, and after a few seconds, it shut down automatically. At first, I thought it was just a temporary issue, but when I tried to restart it, it wouldn’t turn on properly. I started feeling quite anxious because I had not saved my latest changes.

Immediately, I tried some basic troubleshooting like restarting the system and checking the power connection, but nothing worked. Then I contacted a local technician and explained the situation. He asked me to bring the computer to his shop. Fortunately, he managed to fix the issue the next day, and luckily, most of my data was recovered. In the meantime, I borrowed a laptop from my friend to continue my work and meet the deadline.

Honestly, I felt very stressed and frustrated at that moment, especially because all my hard work seemed at risk. However, after the problem was resolved, I felt relieved and also learned an important lesson. Since then, I always save my work regularly and keep backups on cloud storage to avoid such situations in the future.
