Regarding the price of clothes for one kilometre, Argentina had the most costly fabric exported to the EU, with approximately 28 and 26 euros per kilometre of fabric in 1993 and 2023, respectively.

However, Brazil charged the same price for one kilometre of clothes sent to the European Union in both years, approximately 23 euros. Japan’s exportation of fabric was 15 euros, slightly more than that in 2023 when it was about 13 euros.
In China, clothing sent to the EU increased significantly by almost 18 euros compared to 10 euros in 1993. This was a similar scenario in India, with approximately 12 and 7 euros in 2023 and 1993 per kilometre of fabric exported, respectively.
Bangladesh remained the nation with the lowest cost of one kilometre of clothes exported, with about 6 and 3 Euros per kilometre in both years.
