The chart below shows the total number of Olympic medals won by twelve different countries. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The chart shows that the USA won the highest number of medals with almost 1000 gold medals, and the total medals won by the USA is approximately 2300. The Soviet Union came second after the USA with a total medal of about a thousand.

The USA won more medals than all the other countries, with a difference of about 1300 when compared with the Soviet Union. Italy, Germany, France, and the UK all had medals between 500 and 750, while Sweden, Australia, Hungary, East Germany, Japan, and China obtained less than 500 medals. Japan obtained the least medal, which is about 350.

The Soviet Union won about 250 more medals than the UK in contrast to less than 100 medals between the UK and France. The USA won the highest number of gold medals, while Japan won the least Gold medal. Soviet Union obtained more gold medals compared to the UK.

The bar chart elicits the number of medals won by 12 different nations in the Olympic game. It is manifest from the graph that the USA won the highest number of gold medals in the Olympic games. In contrast, the silver and bronze medals ratio was also the highest, approximately 1800 and 2200, respectively.

Also, the Soviet Union also received a total of 1000 medals, comprising 350 gold medals, 300 silver medals, and 350 bronze medals respectively. Moreover, UK and France have won the same amount of medals, but the UK has a higher ratio of bronze medals which, accounted for 270 medals as compared to France.

On the other hand, Germany and Italy have won the same medal in all three categories. Whereas the same trend is observed in Sweden and Australia, but Sweden has more bronze medals than Australia.

Furthermore, Hungry, East Germany, Japan, and China won the same number of medals in all three categories in the Olympic games, but Hungry won a little more as compared to the other four nations.

Overall, it is apparent that the USA won the highest number of medals USA; however, the least was won by China in the Olympic game.
