The diagram below depicts the process of manufacturing bricks for the building industry. The process mainly involves three stages: initial collection and transportation of the raw material, moulding and heating of the mix, and packaging and supply of the final product. The entire process is man-made.

To produce bricks, the clay is dug from the soil with a digger. The unfiltered clay is passed through a metal grid to remove coarse granules and produce fine granules, which are then mixed with sand and water to make a premix. This premix is then either passed to continuous or single moulds to produce an unprocessed brick.

Multiple unprocessed bricks are then stacked and kept in a drying oven for about 24-48 hours. After removing this stack, it passes through a chamber with three temperature zones. In the first zone, the stack is heated to a moderate temperature, then moved to a high-temperature zone, and finally placed in a cooling chamber for 48-72 hours, making it ready for packaging and delivery to customers.
