The given line graph illustrates the details of the workforce in the United States of America from the year 1975 to 2025. It includes the employment sectors like manufacturing, services and agriculture, which are recorded in millions.
At a cursory glance, it can be noticed that the employment sector showed a high fall from year to year, while in the service sector employment increased and in manufacturing, it experienced a fluctuating nature.
To begin with, the manufacturing and service sector followed a similar trend from 1975 to 1980. Afterwards, the manufacturing sector shows a decrease from 40 million and reaches to 20millons in the year 2025. A dramatic increase will be recorded in the service sector to 90 million in 2025.
Moving on, if we consider agriculture, employment opportunities are decreasing from year to year. From 1975 to 1977, there was a stability of 80 million, and in the coming years, it showed a levelling off, and in the year 2025, it is shown that the employment in this sector will be decreased to its minimum.
