The position of women in society has changed markedly in the last twenty years. Many of the problems young people now experience, such as juvenile delinquency, arise from the fact that many married women now work and are not at home to care for their children. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Sample 1:The Position of Women in Society Has Changed Markedly

The position of women in society has changed markedly in the last twenty years. Many of the problems young people now experience, such as juvenile delinquency, arise from the fact that many married women now work and are not at home to care for their children. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

It is irrefutable that nowadays, women have been equally working as men in all sectors in the last two decades. Many people believe that a number of females now leave their accommodation for jobs and not taking care of their kids properly because of the crime rate among juveniles increasing day by day; others reject this notion. However, in my opinion, I completely disagree with the former statement. This essay will analyse my views by taking appropriate examples to demonstrate points and prove arguments.

To commence with, there are a plethora of reasons why women have to work outside, but the most predominant reason is inflation because, in today’s world, it is very expensive and difficult to provide education and other amenities for their children. So for this reason, it has become necessary for both parents to do work, as the financial contribution of females makes things easier for their partner. In India, for instance, the average expense for completing graduation from a good college is around 20-25 lakh, which is very challenging for one person to afford it alone. Therefore, guardians have no option except for more earnings to give their juveniles a comfortable life.

Despite the need for additional income, mothers equally maintain a work-life balance, and women not only give their kids proper time as they can give but also take care of their academics by regular contact with school stat so that they get to know about the growth of their juveniles. However, children’s crimes do not depend upon the career or work of their mother because it is not mandatory that child of every working woman should be an offender, and the opposite trend could be seen in the case of a housewife. To the epitome, Sachin Tendulkar, a famous cricketer, is very successful in his life, whereas his mother is a working woman, but still, he made a very good career in his life. As a result, it is everyone’s personal choice which path they choose for themselves.

In conclusion, although mother love and affection play a vital role in everyone’s life, it is illogical to blame every single predicament situation on mothers. An own individual perspective is also considered for their actions.

Sample 2:The Position of Women in Society Has Changed Markedly

Over the last two decades, the status of women in the community has changed drastically. However, some argue that a number of issues, like juvenile delinquency, arise because women have started to work and do not provide time for their babies. I completely disagree with this notion, which I have discussed in detail in the next few paragraphs.

To begin with, working women are not responsible for increasing the crime ratio. They have the freedom to choose their own career and earn not only for their self but also for their families. They work to earn money that they use to make better care for their children, so this is also one type of care for their children. Thus, we should not blame them for juvenile crime. Moreover, taking care of children is not only a woman’s liability but also a man’s liability. This means that the father is also responsible when offspring commit any crime.

Furthermore, one other reason for disagreement is that juvenile delinquency is caused by poverty, which means less compared with working women. If married women do not work and stay at home, there is also no guarantee that their children will not commit crimes. Even though women take care of their babies, they can do whatever they want, so we can’t say that it’s because of women.

In conclusion, although women have a job, they can manage both taking care of children and work.
