Overall, the Humanities and Education departments had the highest percentages of female students, while the Engineering department had the lowest percentage. The Science, Physics, and Information Technology departments had a moderate percentage of female students.
In addition, the Science, Information Technology, and Engineering departments had the highest percentages of students whose first language is not English. Furthermore, the fourth and fifth departments had proportions of students born outside Australia similar to those of other departments.
