Sample Answer: The Two Maps Below Show an Island, Before and After the Construction of Some Tourist Facilities.
The first map represents how an Island looked before the construction of tourist facilities, while the second one shows its new look after tourist attractions were built.
The Island used to be less built-up, but new development has significantly changed its landscape. The most significant changes include constructing a restaurant, reception, and accommodation facilities.
The first map shows that the Island was less developed. Only a few trees grew in the eastern and Western parts of the Island.
The second map shows that radical changes have taken place on the Island. To the North, a restaurant has been constructed. Adjacent to the restaurant is a reception, which is accessed by a footpath. Additionally, traditionally constructed accommodation rooms are constructed east and west of the reception stand.
A new pier has been built on the southern side of the Island. The pier is connected to the reception by a vehicle track. Furthermore, to the furthest West, an area adjacent to the beach has been set aside for swimming.
