Sample 1:- You Are Going to Another Country to Study

Dear John

How are you? It has been so long since we talked with each other. You will be thrilled to know that I am coming to join you in Canada. I seek your favor to find out a part-time job for me as you live there so you can help me easily.

Let me tell you that I have a very tight schedule throughout the year except on weekends. I have theory classes for six months, and for the rest of the months, I have training in a disabled school. After completion of this diploma, I may avail myself of the opportunity to carry out research for the welfare of mentally retarded children. I think it will open a new door for me.

In addition, I want a part-time job to bear my expenses. As I can work only at weekends, the earning of these two days is enough to cover my transport charges. If I worked during weekdays, I would have no time left to study. To get good grades, it is essential for me to invest more time and study. I believe the job at weekends is a good option.
Will you do a favor for me to ascertain a job? As you are in the post of a manager, you can appoint me to your company as a marketing executive. I have experience as a salesperson, and good communication skills are the main requirement for this type of job. Apart from it, I can work as a driver in your company. I have all the essential documents for this job, so I think you would definitely help me.

Eagerly waiting for your reply.

Yours loving,

Sample 2:- You Are Going to Another Country to Study

Dearest ABC,

I am glad to let you know that I have been accepted to the university I have always dreamt about. Yes, you are right. I got a scholarship for my master’s degree at University XYZ. The best part about this university is that it’s just 5 KM from your location, and I am excited to meet you as we can catch up almost anytime.

However, I am writing this to ask you for a favor as my classes are scheduled in the evening, which means I would have a good amount of time during the morning and afternoon. I would like to utilize it by getting a part-time job that would help me with my finances.

You are very well aware of my family’s financial situation, and I would not like to overburden my parents with my finances as well. I would forever be grateful to you if you could help me in this regard.

I would like to know where I can apply for part-time work. Is there legal or prior permission that I need to take from my university? What’s the process for applying for part-time work? I do recall when we had a conversation last time was also a part-timer; It would be grating if you could recommend me to your friends and families in case anyone is aware of any openings.

I will wait for your reply, as I plan to travel in September. Any help or advice prior to that could be very helpful. See you soon.

Thank You.

Yours Truly.
