You Have Discovered a Lot of Rubbish in A Lake Near Where You Live (1)

You have discovered a lot of rubbish in a lake near where you live. In the past, the lake had always been clean. Write a letter to the local council. In the letter:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you to express my concern about the lake, which is being polluted by the locals as well as outsiders by throwing waste products in it. Resultantly, the lake is losing its charm, which had once clear and alluring.

Let me inform you that plastic bottles, polythenes and broken household items can be seen there. These things have covered a wider area of the lake, and now the foul smell comes out of it. Besides, people do not hesitate to throw eatable items in it; instead of giving them to downtrodden people. Alot of food is wasted in a lake.

On the face of it, this rubbish comes from the houses and tourists also bring it with them. Many times, it has been observed that when people do not find a place to dispose of their trashes; then they throw it in the lake. A musical concert, which had been organised a few weeks earlier, exacerbated this condition.

It would be great if you could lend a hand in bringing it in its pristine condition. On top of that, the installation of CCTV cameras can work alot to curb this problem and locate the offenders, who make it unpleasant. Would you assist in appointing sweepers, who will be responsible for its cleanliness? It is proud of your city, needs attention.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours Faithfully,
