You Saw a Car Accident. Now You Have Been Asked to Write a Report for the Police Describing the Scene. Write a Letter to the Police in About 150-200 Words. Your Letter Should Do the Following Things:
- Explain When and Where You Saw the Accident.
- Describe the Road Conditions, What You Saw, and How Many People and Vehicles Were Involved.
- Explain Who You Feel Was Responsible and Why.
To whom it may concern,
I am writing a report on a car accident that I witnessed on November 12, 2023, at approximately 2:10 p.m. This accident took place on Princess Street, near the intersection with Gardiner Road.
The weather conditions were unclear. The road was wet due to rain, indicating that the environment may have contributed to the incident. The collision was between a red Camry and a white Tuscan. The red Camry appeared to be traveling at a high speed when it collided with the Tuscan, which was making a left turn. There were two occupants in the red Camry and one in the other car, who seemed to be injured.
Based on my observations, I believe that the driver of the red Camry was primarily at fault, as they were not following the traffic signals and were speeding despite the adverse weather conditions.
I hope this information will assist in your investigation.
Yours sincerely,
Sara Paul
