Your Local Council Has Asked Locals for Some Suggestions on How to Keep the City Safer.

Your local council has asked locals for some suggestions on how to keep the city safer. Write a letter to the council. In the letter, you should:

  • explain what the council can do
  • what the people can do
  • tell how the community will benefit by keeping the city safe.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter on behalf of all the locality members on various propositions that can be introduced to make the city a safer place to live in. The council can make a draft of all the recommendations
suggested by the people. Numerous meetings can be organized by the council such that the information provided reaches everyone.

In recent months, there have been numerous thefts happening in the city. People are nervous to either go for outings or have a proper sleep. They can install precautionary locks and alarm systems on the main doors of their homes. A lengthy passcode should be added, and it has to be regularly updated such that it is difficult for robbers to hack the system.

By installing such devices, people will feel protected, and crimes will be reduced drastically. The council can conduct awareness programs for people who have minimum knowledge of such latest technologies. It eventually leads the city free of thieves and makes the locality a secured area.

Thank you for your consideration.

Yours faithfully,
