As an International Student in Sweden

As an international student in Sweden, you have an account with a local bank. The monthly bank transfer you receive from your parents has been delayed this month due to an error at your parent’s bank.

Introduce yourself and ask for a loan.
Say why you need the money.
Tell me how you intend to pay back the money.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I, ABC – a saving account holder in your bank-am currently studying here at Sweden University. I am writing this letter to request you to lend me 10000 Euros. I hope the bank will understand my situation and help me in the best possible way.

Let me tell you in more detail. Being an international student, I regularly receive money from my parents residing in India on the first Monday of the month. However, this time, the bank is facing some technical issues in the international remittance services they use to transact worldwide. Though my father has done the needful from his side, I am yet to get the money because of this problem. Due to this situation, I am unable to pay my college fees and rent from last month. On top of this, my university has issued a warning letter to me to pay the fees in a week which is embarrassing for me as I have been very punctual regarding the same. Thus, considering my situation and expenditure, I would appreciate it if the bank could grant a loan for the above-mentioned amount. Also, I have started working part-time, so it will be easy for you to process the loan. Additionally, my current employer is even ready to sign as a guarantee which will make your job smooth.

I will prefer to pay back via equal monthly instalments as I am working part-time with the study. Please mail me at [email protected] if you need more information.

Looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Yours Sincerely,
