Question 1. What kind of decoration do you prefer?
Answer 1:– When it comes to decorations, I prefer minimalistic decorations. The type of decoration I will go for is one with a dull painting with art and picture portraits to complement it. Sometimes I consider vases with flowers as part of the furnishings.
Answer 2:- I don’t have enough interest in decoration, the biggest reason behind it is that I don’t have any knowledge about decoration things as compared with girls because are giving high value to matching things, whether it is about their personal room or their outfit.
Question 2. How is your home decorated?
Answer 1:- My home does not have plenty of decorations, but firstly, it is painted in a dull, mint green color. The Curtains used are cream colored with some green flowers on them. Hung on the walls are paintings I bought from art exhibitions and my family portraits as well. The chairs in the living room are green with a touch of gold, and it has a center rug which is a mixture of cream and green color.
Answer 2:- There are a number of things that are used by my mom and sister to decorate our home. For instance, artificial plants, paintings, and statues. But I like my living room where everything thing is matching, and where ever I go there, I feel like I’m in the palace.
Question 3. What is your favorite color when decorating your home?
Answer 1:- My favorite color to use when decorating my home is white. Surprising as it may seem, I believe white is a mature color that blends easily with other colors, and I love the color play. It might not necessarily be plain white, but white must be the dominant color.
Answer 2:- I don’t have any preference for color while decorating my house; everything is taken care of by my mom and sister. But if I want to talk about my room, then I want one wall painted white color and for the rest of all I use 3-D wallpaper for decoration.
Question 4. What color would you never use in your home?
Answer 1:– The color I will not consider using is bright orange. I believe it is too flashy to be used in a home. I believe it should be used in open places.
Answer 2:- Black color, we will never use for our house, the reason is that it’s absorbed heat and if we use it on walls for decoration nothing comes with matching items.
Question 5. What color would you choose to paint the walls of your room?
Answer 1:– I would prefer to paint my room black with different colors splashed on it. This will give the room an artistic atmosphere. As I mention earlier, I enjoy the color play.
Answer 2:- As I mentioned earlier, I will use white color for one wall only, and for the rest, I will use 3-D painting; as compared with color, this wallpaper looks pretty awesome. Because I saw it at my friend’s house.
Question 6. Do people in your country like redecorating their homes?
Answer 1:– Yes, Nigerians enjoy redecorating their home, especially towards the end of the year. The main reason for this, I have no clue. Also, the redecoration of homes happens in my country when a special occasion is forthcoming, and visitors will have to enter their homes.
Answer 2:– Yes! They do on Diwali and special occasions, they do redecoration, and there is a number of people who invest more and more money to decorate their homes. In the last few years, I read one news that one person had invested 65 lakhs on decoration.
Question 7. What is the new decorating trend for this year?
Answer 1:- I have not paid any attention to that since the year began. I have been quite busy, so I did not notice what is in vogue with regard to decoration, but I will pay attention to it henceforth since it came up in our conversation.
Answer 2:– Nowadays, interior designing is becoming the most popular. Those people have enough money to spend on decoration. They are switching their design to interior design. For example, the stone wall, the small fountain at the entrance of the house, etc.
