Describe a place you visited where the air was polluted.

Sample 1 Describe a Place You Visited Where the Air Was Polluted

There are many unclean places that make it difficult for people to live. I had a similar experience when I went to Delhi to attend my niece’s wedding party. It was in July, and I travelled by train. Upon arriving in Delhi, the heavy smog made it nearly impossible to wait for a taxi.

There was poor visibility due to toxic gases released from vehicles and factories. My skin itched and turned red, and I was exhausted by the time I reached home.

I couldn’t bear staying indoors, so I decided to return home immediately by flight. Since then, I have realized that my hometown, surrounded by greenery and with fewer vehicles, is far better than a metropolitan city.

I believe people must reconsider their actions if they want to live in a healthy environment. That was the unclean place I visited, and it left a lasting impression.

Sample 2 Describe a Place You Visited Where the Air Was Polluted

India has a vast population, and I have visited many places throughout the country. I have noticed that some areas are more polluted than others. Here, I would like to discuss one such place that I visited last year.

The place in question is Delhi, the capital of India. It is situated in the northern part of the country, near the borders with China and Pakistan. I visited Delhi in December of last year, primarily because my brother lives there.

There are several reasons behind the high levels of pollution in Delhi. One of the main factors is the large number of vehicles in the city. Most residents own personal vehicles, which consume a lot of fuel. The burning of these fuels produces significant exhaust fumes, contributing to air pollution. Another major reason is the presence of numerous industries in the area, which also exacerbate pollution levels.

Before visiting Delhi, I was very excited about the trip. However, upon my arrival, I was disappointed by the poor air quality and felt compelled to leave the city as soon as possible.

Answer – I don’t think wind power has any negative effect on the environment. It is a safe, clean, and relatively inexpensive way to generate energy. Many large companies rely on wind power and profit significantly from its use.
