Sample answer  Describe a Problem You Had While Shopping Online or in a Store

Well, I have always been interested in shopping with friends and family because it is an excellent way to spend my leisure time. Sometimes I prefer to go shopping with friends outside, and sometimes I like to do online shopping. Most of the time, I had an excellent shopping experience, but here I would like to share a situation when I went shopping and had a terrible experience.

A couple of years ago, it was wedding season, and every famous brand or shopkeeper gave special offers and discounts to lure customers. I also wanted to buy an elegant lehenga and matching accessories for my brother’s wedding.
Therefore I went to Ludhiana city, which is quite eminent for wedding collections and searched for my clothes, footwear and other accessories. I bought a lehenga from Sabyasachi, jewellery and matching footwear.

I was elated to get it at a reasonable price. I was over the moon because that brand was giving up to 70% off. So I bought one more indo- Western dress for my sister.
Although the Product quality is outstanding and I got it with a great offer, I faced many problems during my entire shopping.

First and foremost, the quality of service was inferior because I had to wait for a longer time to find other colour options. It is because there were fewer workers, so they didn’t respond quickly to the customers.

Apart from this, during the wedding season, the whole market was so crowded that it created many issues. For instance, the trial room was overcrowded; it took an hour to get into the trial room to try on any dress, which irritated me. Moreover, I had to wait longer to pay my bill because there was a long queue of people standing and waiting for their bill to get cleared.

Last and the biggest problem I faced was a traffic jam. Many Shoppers were on the road, and someone parked their vehicle wrongly, which created more traffic and worsened the whole situation.

If I am talking about my overall experience, I was happy to get whatever I wanted at a great price, but I was totally irritated during the shopping experience. I felt terrible because of traffic, low-quality service, and waiting for trial and billing. In fact, I have made up my mind now that I will never go offline shopping, especially during the festival season.

Question 1:-What kind of customer service do you think is good?

Answer – According to my perspective, customer satisfaction is the primary factor that makes shopping interesting. So both before Sales Service and After Sales Service should be considered to satisfy their shopper. For this, companies should ensure that their quality of service should be prompt, and they should interact with customers with a happy face. To add to IT, companies should also provide after Sales Services because it will help to build substantial goodwill.

Question 2:-What is the difference between shopping online and in-store?

Answer – Well, there are huge differences between online and offline shopping. Firstly, internet shopping gives us a chance to get everything with just one click and saves a lot of time and money. In fact, sometimes we get huge discounts on popular brands. On the other hand, in retail shopping, we can see or touch the material and judge how it is, which is impossible online. So, either online or offline, both have their benefits, but in my view, online shopping is a great option.

Question3:- What problem do customers often have while shopping?

Answer – Customers face various challenges during shopping time .Sometimes they cannot find the product they really need. For instance, there are no more colour options, size problems and goods quality problems.to add to it, sometimes they might have to deal with crowded areas or low-quality services.

Answer – Companies provide many options for customers if they have any problem with the product. First, customers can directly connect with the customer care team or return the defective product. Another thing is they can simply write an email to the company and complain about the product. Lastly, they can also claim a return policy or refund if they get any wrong or defective items.
