Last year, my best friend was getting married, and I had the honour of being the maid of honour. As part of my duties, I had to organize the bridal shower and the bachelorette party. Both events required a significant amount of money to be spent, but I was determined to make them as special as possible for my friend.

For the bridal shower, I decided to rent a venue and hire a caterer to provide delicious food and drinks. I also purchased decorations and party favours to create a festive atmosphere. In total, I spent about $1000 on the bridal shower.

For the bachelorette party, I decided to take my friend and the rest of the bridal party on a weekend getaway to a nearby resort. I booked a suite and planned a variety of activities, including spa treatments, a fancy dinner, and a night out on the town. The cost of the bachelorette party was significantly higher than the bridal shower, coming in at around $3000.

I spent a lot of money on these events because I wanted to show my friend how much I cared about her and how special she was to me. Getting married is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and I wanted to make sure that she had unforgettable experiences leading up to her big day. Money was not the most important thing, but rather the memories that we created together. Seeing my friend so happy and enjoying herself made all the expenses worth it.

In conclusion, there are times in life when we may need to spend a lot of money on special occasions, such as weddings or other celebrations.
