My today’s topic of discussion is to describe the occasion when I paid for something more than expected. I remember the occasion it was our tenth marriage anniversary and I had planned to give an expensive gift to my wife it was her favourite car so which I already booked ten days in advance for my anniversary. We have to take a delivery on the 1st of March, and I paid around one Lac in advance to the company, but on the 28th of February, we had our national budget, so during the national budget, our government has increased the excise duty on the car parts so that car has the car value has been increased by 1 1/2 lacs so I have been told to pay more 1 1/2 lacs because we can’t back out if I back out I will lose all the one Lac amount which I already paid in advance, so I have no choice to back out but have to buy it by paying more than one and a half Lacs. Based on the card features, I feel that what I’m saying is not worthy but due to a change in excise. I left with no choice because with that much amount I can go for another brand with the same feature which cost me less, so that’s why I feel like what I’m buying is not worth it for me, but I have to spend now what has been asked.

Sample 2

Well, I am not addicted to shopping. I believe that it is a wastage of money and also precious time. But on my brother’s marriage, I went to the market and bought some things for myself, but unfortunately, my budget was low, around 10,000; still, I purchased it, which was high than my expectation. I think I am the first time pickup the designer dress from Madame boutique near my house outlet Mall that is in elante Mall. Madame boutique is a prestigious brand in the fashion world. They have a wide range of cloth collections that help to find the best fit. I was brought my lehenga, which is a sea green and pink colour combination. And also, it is simple and sober. The lehenga is in the form of an umbrella that gives the best flare. Also, this style will never go out of fashion. The upper shirt cover with handwork embroidery with very awesome fabric, but still, I decided to buy it, and I finally paid 15900, which was too much for my budget. Well, before selecting my lehenga, I went to a different outlet and spent time there but no one lehenga piece touched my heart. So I decided to buy it, but after I brought up my dress, my mom told me that this dress cost an arm and a leg. Apart from that, I also select this because, after marriage, I carry this outfit in different ways. Additionally, I realised that I did not have matching accessories and shoes, then I shopped around to bring them, and my budget was increased, and the total amount I was spending was around 3000. Finally, I thought it was all over now, and I was ready for marriage. At last, I received very good compliments from my near and dear ones for my dress, but yes, I realised that it was worth spending money on one day.
