Walking down memory lane, I vividly remember being a hodophile person last year. I went to Shimla in my order to spend my summer holidays. Besides this, as soon as I entered Shimla, I felt starving.

At the drop of a hat, one of my friends and I took a meal from the eminent food outlets in Shimla, which was in the place of nowhere. What is more, when I entered a restaurant, I saw a menu there were ample meals on it. As a gourmet person, I tried rice pudding too many times, nevertheless.

I had never tried carrot pudding in my life prior to this. Consequently, my friend ordered carrot pudding. Furthermore, after one hour, when the waiter offered carrot pudding to us seriously, I was a bolt out of the blue because it was light red in colour and embellished with not solely dry fruits but also coconut.

Apart from this, when I ate my first spoon, I was on top of the world, and I got a feeling of serenity. In addition, when I had to come to my abode, I also gave a tip of 10 dollars to the waiter and also gave him blessings on a special meal.

Sample 2 Describe an Unusual Meal that You Had

I distinctly remember an unusual meal that I had a few years ago when I visited Japan. It was an experience that was quite unlike any other, and it left a lasting impression on me.

I was with a group of friends, and we had gone to a small, traditional restaurant in Tokyo that specialized in serving exotic dishes. We were all excited to try something new, and the menu did not disappoint.

The meal consisted of several courses, each one more unusual than the last. We started with a platter of sashimi, which is raw fish, but it was not the usual salmon or tuna that we were accustomed to. Instead, we were served a variety of different types of fish that we had never even heard of before.

Next, we were served a dish of crispy fried crickets, which were surprisingly delicious, and we all found ourselves reaching for more. This was followed by a course of grilled eel, which is a popular dish in Japan, but it was served with a twist – it was marinated in a sauce made from soy sauce and sake.

Perhaps the most unusual course was the one that came next – it was a bowl of rice with raw horse meat. While it may seem unappetizing to some, it was actually quite tasty, and the meat was tender and flavorful.

Throughout the meal, we were served sake, a traditional Japanese rice wine, which complemented the flavours of the dishes perfectly.

The experience was unusual because the dishes were not something that we were accustomed to eating. We were all accustomed to eating traditional dishes from our own cultures, and we were not used to eating things that we considered exotic or unusual. However, we all found ourselves enjoying the meal and appreciating the flavours and textures of the dishes.

In conclusion, the unusual meal that I had in Japan was an unforgettable experience. I was with a group of friends, we went to a small, traditional restaurant in Tokyo, and we tried a variety of exotic dishes that we had never tasted before. It was a unique experience that expanded our palates and opened our minds to new culinary possibilities.
