Question 1: What’s (the name of) your hometown?
Ans: My hometown is Ludhiana. It is located in Punjab, India. It is also famous for its hosiery industry. And it is also known as the City Beautiful.
Question 2: Is it a big city or a small place?
Ans: Ludhiana is quite a big city. It has various places to visit for outsiders. It is the City Beautiful, with every kind of facility for its residents. Like, for teenagers, there are multiple parks and kindergartens; for youngsters, a gym, a club, and Educational institutes; and for old people, various parks for walking and community halls where they spend time with their friends.
Question 3: How long have you been living there?
Ans: I have been living there since my childhood. I love my city because I have lived there my whole life, from childhood through my teenage years. I spent 30 years of my life in Ludhiana, which was really overwhelming. I really had great memories with my cities.
Question 4: Would you say it’s an interesting place?
Ans: Definitely Yes, it is an exciting place to visit. One can see many areas, such as religious sites, entertainment venues, and parks. In my city, there are various tourist attractions and historical monuments that are a must-visit.
Question 5: What do you like (most) about your hometown?
Ans: It’s pretty challenging to choose one thing I like about my city, but yes, there is the Rose Garden, which is my favourite place to visit at any time of year. In this garden in the morning, people go for walks, run, and practice yoga. Even for kids, there are ample swings to play on, and for elderly people, there are many covered places to sit where they can spend time talking and singing.
Question 6: What’s your favourite part of your hometown?
Ans: It’s pretty challenging to choose one thing I like about my city, but yes, there is the Rose Garden, which is my favourite place to visit at any time of year. Question 7: Is there anything you dislike about it?
Ans: Most of the things I like about my it. But yes, there is one place which I do not like much. It is a piece of ground behind the government school that has been in dispute, so nobody takes care of it. People used to throw garbage on the ground, which made it dirty and stinky. But now the conflict is solved, and soon the local council is going to make a lovely garden over there for the vernacular.
Question 8: Do you think you will continue living there for a long time?
Ans: Definitely Yes, I would love to stay there for life. As I was born and brought up there. I have ample memories which always make me excited and emotional about the time I spent there. Moreover, in my city, every kind of facility is available, like education, a hospital, transportation, and entertainment.
Question 9: Are there any tourist attractions in your hometown?
Ans: Yes, there are ample tourist attractions in my city. Multiple religious sites have stood for more than 2 centuries and still look like new structures, a unique feature. Even for entertainment and educational purposes, there are museums, Science City, and a vast water park worth visiting.
Question 10: Did your friends also grow up in the same place as you?
Ans: Some of my friends grew up there, but some left the city after matriculation, and some went abroad for further studies.
Question 11: Would you like to live there in the future?
Ans: Definitely Yes, I would love to stay there for life. As I was born and brought up there. I have ample memories which always make me excited and emotional about the time I spent there. Moreover, in my city, every kind of facility is available, like education, a hospital, transportation, and entertainment.
