IELTS Writing Task 2 : Many People Leave Their Home Country and Go to Other Countries

In recent days there has been a huge growth in the number of people migrating to other countries either permanent or as working professionals. I will try to explain some of the reasons in the paragraph below for the same.

As we all know, India is the second most populated country in the world. As a result, the unemployment rate is very high, and workers also do not get paid fairly compared with the work they are doing. Suppose if we take an example of a waiter, their salary in an Indian five-star hotel is a maximum of 12000- 15000 rupees per month but for the same job they can make at least five times more in other countries like UK, USA, UAE, etc. So, money is one of the main reasons why they prefer to work abroad.

Stating further, the quality of life they live abroad is not possible in our country at any cost. In abroad they live a fascinating life, which I feel most of us dream of. They feel safer and more secure there as compared to their own country. Some countries like Canada provide basic facilities such as Medical, Education for free to their permanent residents. These things I think attract us for migration.

In my opinion, people who choose to work or live abroad benefit them because they are making good money and living a quality life, but at the same time, they miss family life. They also help the Indian economy by sending/investing their money in India. But I also feel they can contribute more to their nation by their knowledge and skills if they do not migrate.
