If a product is good and meets customer needs, then people will buy it and advertising is unnecessary. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is argued that people will buy the products only when the products are attractive and meet the requirements of masses so adverts about them is dispensable. I completely disagree with it as adverts make the products known to people and pressurize the manufacturers to produce high quality things.
At the outset, adverts keep individuals abreast with the outer world and people through advertisements that are in many forms: billboards, posters, leaflets, brochures make people able to differentiate between products namely either the product is worthwhile to use or it serves no purpose. So, after doing a bit research masses decide to buy good one. So, in making people update and saving their money by providing them genuine products, adverts are essential.
Besides, there is a cut-throat competition among producer to enhance their sales so now and then, adverts force the industrialists to make reliable products. For instance, they know that their popularity will soon fade away, if they get failed in meeting the needs of people. So, to leave an everlasting effect of products on their customers and to establish their credibility, it becomes essential for them to produce good and reasonable. Thus, people will become accustomed to buy from the same company, from which they have been dealing with for many years. Besides, although glare of the things can make people fool and turn them into impulsive buyers; but, adverts open their eyes and make them wise buyers.
In conclusion, thus, adverts assist masses in rendering up to date information about varied products and people do purchasing, if they have a need. So, advertising are necessary and absence of adverts can make people spend thrift and compel them to live in a use and throw society.
