Many people believe that social networking sites such as Facebook have had a huge negative impact on both individuals and society. To what extent do you agree?
Past few years, the usage of digital platforms has jumped up. Some people believe that for community and person, social sites have a host of untoward repercussions. I partially agree with the given notion my inclination will be justified in the following paragraphs, along with a logical conclusion.
On the one hand, there are numerous reasons behind it that indicate social sites have a negative impact. Firstly, it comes with a unique concept and high performance of video and images; people easily become addicted; hence, a person lost their focus and goals and shifted to virtual life. For instance, it affects students’ academic career for learners whereas for workers on their vocational life. Secondly, detrimental for the eyes in the long term, wasting time to use it. Finally, almost every social networking type of site’s mandatory requirement is the internet; thus, it is costly, youth move on other way is also harmful to the community, national and themselves future.
On the other hand, social networking sites also have a bright side for society and individuals as well. In this contemporary era, the majority of people who live with busy works schedules, as a result, have less time for socialization; such types of digital social apps yield to maintain relations with each other; furthermore, business companies also use it as advertised and provide paramount wisdom and news to society. In addition, pupils can learn or educate from Facebook types of sites, and it also spread awareness in the community.
To sum up, some people feel that people use social networking applications such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook have a negative impact on users and society as well. I believe that long-time daily usage addicted to the user, and it deleterious for eyes as long times and economical for internet; however, it also spread awareness in community and aid to connect person to person socially.
