Question 1. How often do you go to the cinema?
Answer 1:- Well, I love to watch movies at the cinema; hence, whenever I get an opportunity, I like to go with my family or friends, depending on the genre of the film. Generally, I go once a month, at least if there are good releases. Sometimes I would like to stay home and watch a movie on the laptop just to be alone.
Answer 2:- I attend to watch the latest movies, especially foreign action movies but only once in a blue moon. Not very often.
Question 2. Are cinema tickets expensive in your country?
Answer 1:- In India, movie ticket price depends on various factors like location. For example, it is higher in metropolitan cities such as Mumbai and Delhi than in some remote cities. It depends on the release date as well. If the movie is released in a week, prices are comparatively much higher than away from the release dates.
Answer 2:- Yes, it’s considerably; the amount soars during the festive period, especially during Christmas, and the price is frightening.
Question 3. What are the advantages of seeing a film at the cinema?
Answer 1:- The huge advantage is that person can see the movie on the big screen in which the sound and visual effects are much better and more entertaining. Moreover, experience is also different from watching at home or on mobile. Also, there is a single intervention where you can eat or visit the washroom, so there is less disturbance and more continuity.
Answer 2:- I can only see a few advantages so far. I have been watching a movie at the cinema. Firstly, seeing such a movie earlier than the expected release date is advantageous. Secondly, the atmospheric condition in cinemas is always different and always serves as a point of attraction for a person like me.
Question 4. Do you usually watch films alone or with others?
Answer 1:- To be honest, I don’t like to watch it alone; seeing the movie with someone is better than being alone, although, sometimes, I also see it alone, like in lockdown was imposed by the Indian authority after the rising corona positive cases in 2020.
Answer 2:- I prefer seeing movies with others. It always has a special feeling when amidst peers.
Question 5. Which actor would you like to play in a film?
Answer 1:- I prefer to watch Hollywood actors and actresses, one of my favourite ones is Jennifer Aniston. She is well-known for her roles in the Friends series and has appeared in many award-winning movies in the lead role.
Answer 2:- Ehn… I had never thought of this, but I think I would prefer to be a hero who comes to the rescue of others in need.
Question 6. How do you listen to music?
Answer 1:- Music is the best way to relax, and I like to watch it on my Smartphone. I also have a subscription to Savan and Spotify, which are music applications for the phone.
Answer 2:- Very often, I can’t go a day without music. It gives me a special vibe when I am wearing a headset.
Question 7. When do you listen to music?
Answer 1:- Whenever I feel frustrated, I play my favourite music playlist which makes me calm and feel more energetic. I also listen to music whenever I am travelling, like on a bus or train.
Answer 2:- I listen to music always, and there is no specific time or period.
Question 8. What’s your favourite kind of music?
Answer 1:- I like many genres of music, like kind of music having some rock, pop or even Sufi music. I like Bollywood songs as it has great lyrics. One of my favourite singers is Arjit Singh.
Answer 2:- I love cool music and maybe RnB. But, in general, music calms the soul and relieves stress and burden.
Question 9. Is music an important subject at school in your country?
Answer 1:- I don’t think music is a pivotal subject in my country. If leaner or children like it, they can opt, but it’s optional. Indian education system puts more weight on practical and traditional subjects.
Answer 2:- I am not sure it is important for every student, but I am so sure it’s paramount for any pupil in the musical department.
Question 10. What kinds of music are (most) popular in your country?
Answer 1:- India is a diverse country, so it is hard to tell what kind of music people like, but it is also different in age groups. Adolescents like to listen to beat-catchy songs kike western and rock, whereas older people are religious and have lyrics that have some meaning.
Answer 2:- It’s hip-hop kind of music. It’s an epidemic in Nigeria.
