Nowadays the Differences Between Countries Are Becoming Less Evident

Nowadays the differences between countries are becoming less evident because people follow the same media. Do the advantage of this trend outweigh the disadvantages?

Cutting edge technology has removed the differences between nations because now people have access to buy any product of any country and they are becoming almost similar in terms of wearing clothes, watching TV shows. Thereby, the advantages of this trend are greater than the disadvantages.

First off, the availability of international products, food and entertainment have made people feel at ease. They have not confined themselves within the boundary of their country. For instance, masses get to know about the food culture of any nation by relishing the food of that country. They enjoy music and attend live concerts online. Thus they make themselves familiar with that nation. In my perspective, it is beneficial for the masses to remove culture shock. As people migrate overseas and thereby, they feel anxious about the culture of the host country. So, masses, who are known to the culture of other nations would not hesitate to mingle with foreign individuals and can make their adjustment well.

On the other hand, its disadvantages cannot be overlooked. Suffice to say that there will be a loss of ethnicity. In the race of embracing westernization, people will lose their cultural legacy. For instance, they will rely more on canned food instead of traditional meals. Gradually, they will be forgotten about the speciality of their food. Moreover, traditional clothes that are the identity of any community, will be at risk of alienating with their roots.

In conclusion, globalization has brought people closer to each other. Differences between countrymen are mitigating and people are getting akin to each other by exchanging food, clothes etc. So, this kind of trend has more benefits than drawbacks aa it is need of an hour to mingle with others.
