Question 1:- Do you live in a house or a flat?

Answer 1:- I live in an apartment, and it is a 3BHK apartment.

Answer 2:- I live in a 3-Bedroom hall kitchen flat which is one of the apartments in a 20-story building.

Question 2:- Is it a big place?

Answer 1:- Yes, it is quite a spacious apartment with three bedrooms. We have an oversized balcony as well.

Answer 2:- Yes, the flat is quite spacious as it has three bedrooms. However, this flat is co-joined with another one to make it bigger in order to
accommodate a family of 7 people.

Question 3:- How long have you lived there?

Answer 1:- I have been living here for the last two years. We shifted here after I completed my studies.

Answer 2:- I have been living here for the last two decades, along with my parents and grandparents. My parents bought this house after getting separated from my uncle and aunt, and my and my brother’s childhood has been spent here, so it is quite a special place for us.

Question 4:- What do you like about living there?

Answer 1:- This place is very peaceful, unlike my old apartment near the main road. Moreover, it has modern amenities like a home theatre, gym and garden. The parking facility here is well organized. Hence, I enjoy the overall experience here.

Answer 2:- As I mentioned, it is where we grew up and had beautiful childhood memories created. Also, I still have my childhood friends staying here, and we meet quite often and reminisce about our old days, which brings back good memories.

Question 5:- Is there a garden in the place you live in?

Answer 1:- ya, it has a medium garden with attached children’s activities such as seesaw, swing and slider.

Answer 2:- Not just one, there are five gardens; hence the area is known as the Panchvan complex as there are five parks in the vicinity. Our windows face the biggest joggers’ park in our area, and the view is spectacular.

Question 6:- Do you prefer hot weather or cold?

Answer 1:- Honestly, summers are sweltering in India, so I prefer winters. Moreover, we have all the green vegetables in winter, and I love making cuisines from these veggies.

Answer 2:- I prefer cold weather over hot weather as there is an option to wear sweaters or woollen clothes to be safe from the winter. It is also perfect weather to have hot chocolate and snuggle inside the blanket watching some good series.

Question 7:- Tell me about the weather in your country at different times of the year.

Answer 1:- India mainly has three seasons, summer, winter and rainy season. Every season lasts for almost four months. However, after climate change, the rainy season does not only follows it sometimes.

Answer 2:- There are four seasons at different times of the year, each having moderate to extreme weather conditions. For example, in summer, the weather can be hot or humid in some parts of India, whereas a dry climate in other parts of India. Likewise, the northern region has snowfalls that are not observed in the rest of the regions in India.

Question 8:- Which time of the year did you enjoy the most when you were a child?

Answer 1:- I loved summer the most as a child because we had a vacation from school during that time, and I used to go to my grandparent’s house. I used to play the whole day, and my aunts used to feed me my favourite Ice cream.

Answer 2:- My favourite time of the year during childhood was summer vacations. We had 2-3 months of summer holidays where we used to take family trips or used to play all day long with friends living in the same area. It was study free time which each and every child definitely adores.

Question 9:- Do you (usually) pay attention to weather forecasts?

Answer 1:- I mostly pay attention in the summer. As I already mentioned, summers in India are too hot, and often there is an orange and red alert which means it is not advisable to go out on those days.

Answer 2:- Yes, I do keep a watch on the weather changes. I am updated with the weather prediction as it definitely warns us when the weather will turn out to be extreme. It is good to know in advance if it rains so that we have our umbrellas and raincoat handy or if it is going to be cold, then we can have our warm clothes ready.

Question 10:- Has the weather changed much in your country in recent years?

Answer 1:- Indeed, climate change has affected weather all over the globe and India is not spared from this either. Because of this, sometimes rain occurs at most unexpected times of the year, such as during October and November. Temperatures in summer have risen as compared to the past.

Answer 2:- Yes, climatic changes have been observed, as now it’s even hotter in the summer and way colder in the winter. The summer didn’t bother me much in the past, but nowadays, it is difficult to live without air conditioning. A lot of people face heat stroke, and moreover, even the intensity of rain varies so much that there is instant flooding in the areas causing lots of damage.
