They purchase these goods so that their lives can be transformed. In addition, an increasing number of people shop on impulse. This is due to the fact that when they go to the shopping mall , they are compelled to buy the goods. Some of them are moved by what they see. . Hence, shoppers always have the urge to buy things when they go on shopping. Clearly, many people replaced their enjoyable hobby with shopping because of the changing effect it will have on their lives, and also they act on impulse.

In some cultures, people are judged by their clothes and looks. Not only adults but also young kids buy expensive clothing. For instance, in college, many students wear expensive items and clothes to show off, impress their friends, and look the best among them. This is mainly because they do not have any responsibility to earn money, so they do not know the value of money.
This is not a good sign for our society. Hobbies need to be like reading, some sports activities, collecting unique things, and so on, but hobbies like shopping lead to individuals’ financial situations or going bankrupt. Moreover, instead of wasting money on buying unnecessary things, why not spend this money on helping underprivileged people? For example, in my colony, one of my neighbors has a hobby of shopping, and she always goes shopping once a day.
