Some People Believe that Eventually All Jobs Will Be Done by Artificial Intelligence Robots. What Is Your Opinion?
Some people believe that artificial intelligence (AI) machines will eventually take over the entire employment industry. In my opinion, robots can’t take all people’s jobs because there is no scientific evidence to prove that AI robots’ brains operate with the same efficacy as human brains. Despite this, a few jobs may be replaced in the coming years.
Robots will not take on all jobs in the coming century due to the lack of scientific research on AI robots’ brains. In other words, no scientist has yet experimented on the accuracy of a robot’s brain. For instance, humans can think outside the box in challenging situations, but no proof has emerged that robots can do the same. Several books have been written about human discoveries, such as Sir Isaac Newton’s famous law of motion, which he formulated as a human, not a robot.
Although AI seems capable of replacing human activities in theory, there are numerous errors made by robots in practice. For example, the world has witnessed car crashes caused by robotic cars, notably those produced by Tesla. This illustrates that, in such scenarios, the world still needs human drivers to minimize road traffic accidents caused by programming errors.
However, some jobs will indeed be replaced by robots in the future, but not all jobs. Some tasks, like traffic control, may be better suited for robots than humans. For example, traffic controllers have been injured or killed while managing traffic in certain areas, such as a case in India where a traffic officer was struck by a car during their duty.
To sum up, AI will not replace humans in all sectors because it is not capable of replicating the same abilities humans have in their daily work. However, only a small number of jobs will be taken over by robots.
