Sample Answer: Some People Believe that Unpaid Community Service Should Be a Compulsory Part of High School Programs

Unpaid Community service for high school students should be compulsory, as many people claim. I completely agree with this opinion for several reasons, which I will highlight in the paragraphs that follow.

To begin with, free social services areservices are beneficial for students because theythey help them learn about their roots and stay connected to them. If learners begin engaging in charitable and volunteer social work in the early stages of their lives, they will meet many people and learn more about their cultures. Secondly, it will help them enhance skills such as time management, communication, teamwork, and leadership by assisting them in organising the event, communicating with individuals from diverse communities, and expanding their social circle.

Furthermore, encouraging students to undertake unpaid charitable work will benefit charities, as charities with limited budgets organise some events and cannot hire staff or pay high wages. In that case, charities can receive assistance from learners to make the event successful without incurring additional costs, and they can utilise the funds for more productive purposes. For instance, an event was held in my area last week to support individuals with disabilities. Because of the low budget, the event organiser cannot hire staff. Local school students came to assist them and made the event successful.

To conclude, it is fruitful for learners and for charity to encourage high school learners to volunteer in the community to develop skills, learn more about their culture, and deepen their commitment to their community and country.
