Some People Think that Children Can Learn About History by Visiting

Some people think that children can learn about history by visiting museums, while others believe that there are better ways to learn about history. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Our next generation is the pillar of our nation, and they will play an important part in the country’s development. There has been debate about how kids can learn about our history; some opine that children can learn history from historical places and museums, while others postulate that there are other learning modes. Both have their own pros and cons. Therefore, both views must be discussed before I comment on my opinion.

On the one hand, as per the opinion of formers, they believe that children can learn history by visiting places like museums where they can physically see objects or other historical monuments because, at the age of a child, they can remember more by seeing and hearing something. In addition, kids and their parents should visit places like that because they have a responsibility to take care of their children. For example, research shows that children with better listening and seeing skills can learn more than others.

On the other hand, considering the latter point of view, they have the mindset that many better options are available to children to understand our history. The main reason behind this is that nowadays, with the help of technology, they can learn faster than before. For instance, in previous years, because of COVID-19, many children learned and studied at home. This was possible because of the internet and technology like smartphones and laptops.

In conclusion, I personally believe that kids should visit museums because seeing is believing. However, people who can’t afford museum tickets can watch videos from home.
