Some People Think that Enjoying the Present Is More Important

Some people think that enjoying the present is more important than planning for the future for both countries and individuals.

It is irrefutable that happiness is the utmost priority for each and everyone to live joyfully, but some people opine that rather than choosing the future, handling present situations are important, which is applicable for a person and as well as for countries. But, I disagree with the statement and elaborate my views favouring the negative trend and thus lead to a logical conclusion.

To begin with, if students do not properly plan for their future, then they are not able to cope with the hurdles in their careers. For instance, pupils, while studying in primary education concentrating only on assignments or project work and not thinking about what specializations need to be pursued in the secondary education then they cannot be able to take the step forward, and at the last minute, they cannot choose it wisely. As a result, they lose confidence and determination levels and cannot succeed in their goals which makes them face problems in the coming generations and thus leads to unhappiness in their whole life with a plethora of regrets.

Secondly, In this modern world, everyone is accustomed to luxurious life and has to work harder to get high pay. In other words, employees who are working in the information technology industry have to switch jobs by learning up to date technology. So, if these people are enjoying the present moment and not making a to-do list for the next five years tenure, then they have to feel sad for the whole life, which is not acceptable.

To conclude, even though people argue that living in the present moment is important rather than choosing the best plan for the next few years. In my opinion, they are the ones not making it through and will face the consequences in the future.
