Sample 1:-Some people think they have the right to use as much freshwater

Clean water is the most essential thing we need to survive. One group of people believes that they can use fresh water without any restrictions. Whereas others opine that it is a limited resource on the planet. So the government should impose some strict rules to reduce the use of fresh water. Both have their own pros and cons. Before I comment on my view, both must be discussed in the following paragraphs.

On the one hand, many individuals believe they have the right to use pure water as much as they want. The first and foremost reason is that it is a natural resource which owns by no one. This means that people have the freedom to use it without worrying about anyone others. One another reason is that it is available free of cost. People do not need to pay any charges to use fresh water. For example, the Narmada River contains fresh water and is easily available in most places. Everyone can use that water for their daily need without prohibition.

On the other hand, some people opine it is limited. Higher authorities should do everything possible to control excessive freshwater use. This is because the amount of water that we can use in our household activities and for drinking purposes is limited. As per one survey, we have only 2% of fresh water on this earth; the other part of the water is not useable for human life. If people use more water and waste it, it will be a problem for future generations, and they will face a shortage of clean water.

In conclusion, although water is a natural resource and completely free, the government should take some steps to reduce excessive use of it because it is a limited resource.

Sample 2:-Some people think they have the right to use as much freshwater

Certain people believe that with the backing from the Constitution, they can overuse water, while some people think that water is a limited resource, so the government needs to regulate its usage. In my opinion, I agree that government should regulate it. This essay will highlight both sides.

On the one hand, the government controlling the usage of water will infringe on the rights of the people. This is because it is their legal right to have access to and use water that is naturally given. The government regulating free water will deprive others of being able to use as much as they want. Moreover, controlling fresh water would incur costs for the users. In order for the state to manage freshwater, taxes and sanctions will be imposed. This will increase the costs of industries and the poor people in the community.

On the other hand, water usage needs to be controlled to enhance its sustainability. Since water is a limited resource, the state must ensure that it is sustainable for future generations. This calls for check out of people who misuse the water and pollute them. For instance, this can be done government imposing higher taxes on the water to prevent over or misuse of our fresh water. Again the state will gain revenue when fresh water is regulated. Freshwater regulations will bring much income to the government because people will pay for its usage especially large industries which use much water every day.

To conclude, water is essential for our lives. I believe that the government should control fresh water because its benefits, such as sustaining water and revenue, supersede the problems that may arise.
