In 2015, after my class 12 national exams, I went back home in Dar es Salaam to wait for my results. While I was waiting for my results to come out, my father took me to the driving school nearby, and he paid the fees so I could learn to drive a car.

He said I have learn and to pass the license exam because I’m supposed to help my mother take my siblings to school and go to fetch groceries in the market.

Of course, it was hard at first as I was supposed to drive while others were coming opposite, and you need to stay in your lane to allow other cars to pass you in the opposite direction, which was my hardest task to learn.

However after a lot of hours hard work I passed the test and get my driving license I remember I didn’t sleep that night because if joy and I was the one to wake others up so that I can drive them to school and market as my job.

Question 1:- What kinds of jobs require people to be confident?

I believe every job needs a confident person in order to get successful results. However there is some jobs that require more confidence than others in order to get even a ordinary output such as radio and TV reporter these employment need to be confidence as you spend time in from of cameras and different people across the country are watching and listen to you and sometimes they criticize you by your look, sound and appearance so you need to believe in you 100 % to get through this otherwise you will end up being unconfident and perform badly in your work.

Question 2:- On what occasions should children be encouraged? How?

I believe in pursuing their dream. Children should be encouraged to keep going, as the journey of achieving goals can get difficult sometimes, so if we encourage them, they will meet their dreams.

Question 3:- How do you help children stay focused?

In my opinion I believe we can give children our own success story so that they can know that it’s possible for ordinary people to win, as I remember I visited my old primary school and the headmaster gave me a chance to say word m to the pupils, I told them my own journey how I become a educated furthermore I told them I was children like them and I used the same class they are using right now. So they have to keep fighting to get their dream to come true.

Question 4:- What challenges do young people face today?

There are many challenges that young people are facing recently, but the idea of getting involved in drug abuse is not good, and it kills their ambition and time as they spend their entire youth using drugs inappropriately, and they forget to chase their dreams. Finally, after 20 years, there will be nothing. If they can invest their 20s in finding their purpose, they will get a comfortable life in their 30s.
