The chart below shows estimated world illiteracy rates by region and by gender for the year 2000. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

The tabular graph elucidated the illiteracy rates all around the globe in six countries among males and females in 2000. Data is calibrated as a percentage.

Overall, it is crystal clear that there was a maximum ratio of uneducated in South Asia, whereas developing countries experienced a minimum.

Looking into the details, the percentile of illiteracy amongst both genders has been observed at around 1%and 2%in developing nations, correspondingly. Likewise, there was a negligible difference in the untutored from Latin America and the Caribbean in 2000. Moreover, the ratio of illiteracy almost turned twice among men and compared to women, increasing from 9% to 20% in the same year in East Asia and Oceania.

According to the estimate, 30% of men had never been educated, followed by one-fifth of sub-Saharan African females. In contrast, one-third of gents were illiterate, and 20% of s@x opposites were in Arab states by 2000. However, the majority of ladies were untutored, noticing nearly 35%. Interestingly, in South Asia, the highest illiteracy rate compared to other former ones was 53% in 2000, and this was the peak point in the given time period.
