Overall, the UEA government had budgets in 10 different sectors in 2000, Health and personal social service, Transport, Social Security, Law and order, Education, Industry, agriculture and employment, Housing, heritage, and environment, Debt interest, and other expenditures. The largest expenditure was the social security sector, while the smallest one was transported.

First, the highest expenditure factor that the UAE government spent the most was social security, 100 billion in 2000. However, transport expenditure was the lowest one, only 9 billion among other sectors. Moreover, the government tended to invest in health and personal social services and education at 53 billion and 38 billion, respectively. Besides, the government budgets on spending money on debt interest and other expenditures were the same amount at 23 billion in 2000.
