Sample Answer: The Diagrams Below Show a Community Centre’s Changes in The Last Ten Years

The two diagrams illustrate the changes in a community centre in the previous decade.

Overall, the building’s purpose switched slightly from having four office rooms to one office room after ten years. However, the main purpose of the building remained the same.

Initially, the building was occupied by a garden on the northwest wing from the reception, which was later replaced by indoor sports; nevertheless, the parking, entrance and reception remained stagnant throughout the years.

On the other hand, ten years ago, the storage room situated above the hall was reduced to negligible compared to the current reformed toilet before being relocated consecutively beside the reception and cafe on the south and west sides of the main entrance. The hall remained the same with 100 seats, followed by the kitchen throughout the changes.

Furthermore, the cafe area expanded in size, where we originally placed four office rooms and a storage room on the east side of the building in the last decade.
