The graph below shows the number of inquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over six months in 2011. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and making relevant comparisons.


The line chart displays the number of inquiries collected by the Tourist Information Office in a city from January to June 2011.

Overall, In January, more inquiries were received over a telephone calls and by letter. However, those acquired through telephone increased to the second highest n June, inquires sent through letters/email is the lowest of the three as those obtained in person started lowest and was the highest in the end.

At the beginning of the year, many people choose to send in their inquiries over telephone calls or by letter/email at around 900 and just below 800, respectively. More investigations were received by telephone as it increased to the second highest in June as 1600 people called the office. In contrast, fewer people sent letters or mail to the hospital as it dropped to the lowest of the three at just below 400 in June. Fewer people made their inquiries at slightly above 400 in January, but by June, most people chose to inquire from the office in person, with around 1800 people turning up.
