The Graph Below Shows the Percentage of People Going to Cinemas AC Writing Task 1

The graph below shows the percentage of people going to cinemas in one European country on different days. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and making relevant comparisons.


The bar chart illustrates the proportion of individuals who showed their interest in movies, which they visited in three different years in a week.

Overall, it is immediately apparent from the chart that the highest number of people prefer to watch movies in the Cinema on weekends, Saturday and Sunday, while the maximum number of individuals watch a movie on Weekdays.

In detail, people who like to watch films on Monday began at 10% in 2003, but this ratio increased to nearly 14% after two years and significantly downgraded to 13% in the final year. Following this, 20% of people visited in theatre on Tuesday, but this ratio declined by 4% in 2005 and soared to 17% in 2007. Next in Wednesday, this ratio was different; approximately 50% of people watched movies, and this value plummeted to below 10% in 2007.

Interestingly, they watched a movie in the Cinema on Friday, which accounted for 30% over three years. Still, this number changed near the weekend, and the value skyrocketed to 40% in 2003 on Saturday. Afterwards, this number peaked at 45% after two years, but this ratio plunged to 42% in the final year. Moreover, Sunday had the lowest number compared to Saturday which was 30% of people who visited the Cinema in 2003 and this value climbed slightly to nearly 32% in 2007.
