The News Is an Important Source of Knowledge for All of Us About the World

The news is an important source of knowledge for all of us about the world, especially in this era of technology. Journalists are mainly responsible to bring this news to us but not all of them are true to their responsibilities and ethics. How much can we trust the journalists? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge

In the digital epoch, keeping oneself abreast with the outer world is first and foremost the concern of many masses. The responsibility to bring facts about any incidents lies with the reporters; however, some are observed negligent about their duties and moral code. The reasons that make us believe in them will be discussed below, along with fine examples.

To commence with, Firstly, due to some distrust columnist, it cannot be inferred that they should not be believed. There are others who put their lives in danger and collect evidence from unmasking many people. They do maintain the reputation of their profession as well as the trust of people. Resultantly, we can believe in them. For instance, many newsmen or newswomen depicted the pitiable condition of farmers, who were protesting against the government for their rights, even in extreme conditions. Even though they had been warned or stopped from showing the reality to the public, however, those newsagents regardless of the threats, provided essential stuff to the masses. Therefore, for those brave journalists, it can be said that they can be trusted without question.

Moreover, there is no other option to get indispensable information except columnist. They will always bring reality to the people for the popularity of their channels. They know that today’s masses are literate and rational. They will be believed only if they do something different from their other counterparts. So, due to tough competition in mass media, journalists try to come to the expectations of common people. They are rewarded by the multitude for their work as a loyal servant of a community. To exemplify it, nowadays, it has been seen that news is distorted, and the truth is hidden from the naked eyes of human beings. But, when the other news reporter discloses the truth about a piece of particular news, which has been presented before with some false pieces of evidence, people automatically build their confidence in them. That’s why this trend to expose others and establish one’s rapport is advantageous for the laymen. People can compare the information and logically get the authentic information.

To conclude, in consideration of the above analysis, it is ostensible that masses can trust reporters as much as they can owing to their dedication to make people familiar with the truth even by putting their life at risk. Besides, tough competition among news agencies is beneficial for the masses to evaluate genuineness.
