Overall, Luxembourg’s tutors received the highest salary, while Japanese teachers had the lowest pay. However, Korean lecturers had to gain many years of experience before receiving a pay package at their level, more than the rest of the countries. Danish teachers had to have a minimum years of field experience before reaching their nation’s stipulated stipend level.
Regarding the initial salaries, Luxembourg stood out with the highest pay and annual income of 80,000 and 112.000 US dollars, respectively, while Denmark followed with a starting salary of 47.000. Nonetheless, Luxembourg doubled the yearly Danish wage of 54.000 USD. The number of years required to earn such an amount of pay in teaching in Luxembourg was 30, almost four times the years of teaching in Denmark for their top pay.
Australia, Korea, and Japan had almost similar salaries at the beginning of 34.600, 30,500, and 28,000, respectively. Notwithstanding, Japanese and Korean teaching staff received more annual payments of 49,000 USD and 52,600 USD, respectively, than Australian teachers. However, Australia had a considerable number of years of experience to reach their salary levels as opposed to the 37 and 34 years needed for their colleagues in Korea and Japan, respectively.
