Sample Answer: The Youth Crime Rate Is Rising Rapidly in Many Countries

Many countries are experiencing an escalation in the rate of juvenile crime. While poor parenting is a contributing factor to this issue, I believe both teachers and parents should work closely together to provide proper guidance to the younger generation.

Lack of good parenting has resulted in many youth getting involved in unlawful activities. Because it is among the crucial criteria for a younger person during his or her growth period, if they get a bad parenting experience, it will be easy for them to jump into the street gangsters and to commence breaking the law, which will take them behind bars in the end. The perfect example of this is my childhood friend who grew up in the street his parents both died when he was 7 years old so he lacked sufficient education on how to live in a good way, he started to steal people’ Materials unfortunately in 2022 when I was abroad doing my degree I got a news from my brother that my old friend he got caught while stealing and now he is serving 10 years in jail.

However, parents and teachers have more chances of abolishing this issue by working together as a team to guide younger people on how to live their lives within society in good manners without stepping aside. Because teachers and parents are the only ones who spend more time with youth than other groups of people, such as friends and relatives, sharing the progress of the younger generation with each other will make their task to achieve the desired goal. For example in Tanzania in 1997 the government emphasized a contract between teachers and parents on how to provide good education guidance to the younger people in order to eliminate youth crime, last year the ministry of home affairs in collaboration with Young United Nation Association in Tanzania has released the statistics which showed youth crime rate have decrease for more than 80 percent over the 26 period of time, So this idea was good and it worked in my home country.

To recapitulate, the rapid increase of youth crime is accelerated by bad parenting, and the collaboration between teachers and parents on providing good guidance will cease the trend.
