Sample 1 You Accidentally Damaged Something in His/her House

Dear John,

Thanks for making my stay comfortable at your home, while you were on the holiday trip to Dubai; but at the same time, I am feeling sorry for the vase that unintentionally got slipped from my hand.

Let me tell you about the item that got damaged. It was a vase that you purchased while traveling to Italy the last summer. Did you tell me how precious was it for you?

Well, it happened at the time of cleaning. Abruptly, my phone rang and it was in my left hand and as soon as I picked the phone, it got slipped from my hand. I tried to fix it, but all in vain because it was shattered into pieces.

I know you are fond of collecting antique things and it was one of them; however, you do not need to worry as I have a holiday package to Italy and I will purchase another one for you. Either we can order online as now everything of any country is available online. I apologize again for the loss that I did not do deliberately. If there is any other option, please do not hesitate to tell me about our valuable relationship.

Hoping to see you soon!

Yours Loving,

Dear Aman,
I hope you would be in pink health and in high spirits. Firstly, I would like to commend you for allowing me to take care of your apartment while I was looking for a rental one. Secondly, yesterday I break your flask placed beside the television because of which I am writing this. I am really sorry for this accident.

Actually, everything went suddenly. As I was watching a movie on television and on the next movement the doorbell rang. In hurry, I picked up the keys which were near the flask. Unintentionally, I hit that; it fell down and broke.

I know probably after reading this you would be concerned about it due to the fact that it was costly. However, I would like to assure you that please do not take tension since I found the same flask on Amazon and I placed an order too. It will receive by next Tuesday.

Once again, I want to apologize to bother you on holiday and pardon me. Stay stress-free and enjoy your quality time.

Lovingly,

  2. Dear Rhonny,
I hope you are doing great?. I’m writing you this letter in respect to the accidentally damaged door knob leading to the backyard of your apartment. Please allow me elaborate.
It was an incident that took place three days ago and wasn’t intentional. On that fateful day, My intentions were to water the flowers in the yard . I tried to open the back door with the keys to no avail. On the third attempt the door knob came off. I later discovered I was using a wrong to open the door. I felt so bad because I know how meticulous you are with the maintenance of your apartment. I couldn’t say it to you in person hence this letter.
Please don,t worry about it as it would be in perfect condition by tomorrow. I was able to contact the building and household accessory company right on your street. They promised to stop by at noon.
I’m very sorry and can’t wait to hear from you.
    Your friend,
    Jenny
